Editorial -- "The Promise of Shamballa"
To stretch the borders of our mental universe, to expand our sense of right human relationships and to recognise the vastness of the planetary interrelationships is to become a cooperating unit in the distribution of a powerful yet utterly beneficent force. In opening our minds to this potential, we gain some understanding of why it is said the only place of complete peace is Shamballa.
The Place that the Will Plays in Inducing Revelation -- Djwhal Khul
The Wesak Festival-Mobilising the Will -- Sarah McKechnie
The name Buddha means to perceive or wake up. When asked by his followers "what are you?", he replied "I am awake." And his life's work was to show all who were ready how to wake up to reality-not by escaping from the world but by being fully present in the world. To be "earthbound" is to be tied to the material plane but fast asleep to reality. To be awake is to see behind the outer form to the reality which is pure spirit awaiting revelation through matter.
Preparing For the Shamballa Force: The Law of Sacrifice - Kathy Newburn
A primary part of this training in sacrificial work is learning to work behind the scenes, unknown, unrecognised and unacclaimed. We're not asked to give up our individual identity but rather to begin a reorientation process in which our individual consciousness is merged with that of the greater whole. This relates to the "relinquishing of gain" as taught in the Bhagavad Gita-the performance of action without attachment. All as related to the three worlds has eventually to be relinquished through a graded series of detachments.
Abortion-An Esoteric Perspective for Reflection - Richard Bryant-Jefferies
As human beings, struggling to see through the swirling potencies of maya, glamour and illusion, we inevitably bring a limited range of knowledge, awareness and insight to bear on the decision that we make, often blinded to the wider considerations. The esotericist is seeking to see a little further and to develop increasing responsiveness to soul impulse. To live esoterically is to endeavour to grasp more fully the greater creative purpose behind all that we experience and in which we live and move and have our being.
Increasing Psychism - Foster Bailey
Unhappily, in a great many cases the mere fact that the impression is extrasensory induces the belief that it must be of superior knowledge and value and often that it must indeed be spiritually significant. It is only in the highest grades of sensitivity to soul reaction that the purified and consecrated disciple gets through to the physical brain consciousness anything but distorted reflections of the effects that the impact of soul energies may have had on his consciousness.
The Laws and Principles--Blueprint for the Jurisdiction of the Christ -- Dominic Dibble
...in the aggregate of the group mind, where many experienced meditators are present, greater stability is possible. In this way, those who meditate within the new group of world servers perform a significant service to the whole group, by helping to produce the blueprints with which the new group works.
Fibonacci: A Forerunner - Jerry Leaphart
Fibonacci is the name by which Leonardo da Pisa is better known. The designation "better known" begs the question somewhat because Fibonacci is, in actuality, not very well known at all. Relative to the contribution he made to human thought, in exoteric, esoteric, mathematical and scientific terms, he is not nearly as well known as that contribution would dictate that he should be.
