…sometimes poise is confused with a passivity and inactivity at the level of the personality that works out in an unwillingness to take action for fear of its consequences. This was the classic drama unfolded in The Bhagavad Gita. But Arjuna successfully overcame his fear and remained poised and skillful amidst the battlefield of Kurukshetra. True spiritual poise involves "a concentrated physical brain attention which is in no way deviated by the inner receptiveness".

Much unnecessary suffering can be avoided by putting all of one’s efforts into discharging responsibilities to the best of one’s ability. When the needed lessons are learned, one’s soul can bring the rewards earned and change the direction of one’s life for the better. The object of each life is to redeem one’s total being at least one step.

The Aquarian Age will see the triumph of the Coming One called in ancient world scriptures the Rider on the White Horse. The Rider is revealed in Revelations 19:11: "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True".

Balance, a state of equilibrium between two opposing forces, is something which is necessary to progress along the way. There must be times when newly contacted energies are stabilised within the form, so that they can be rightly utilised. And there must also be times when this balance is upset, when it has become too comfortable and easy, leading to stagnation. This oscillation between stability and change is the force of evolution itself, and only finds its ultimate resolution in the final period of rest at the end of cyclic manifestation.

Having read the treatise on Esoteric Healing by A.A.B. the aspirant is probably left with mixed feelings. To have so much information at hand and yet not be able to apply the bulk of it can prove to be very discouraging. In foreseeing this the Master Djwhal Khul points out that this treatise is for the purpose of supplying study and reference material in preparation for a greater understanding at a later date. Most of it will not be of practical value for a long time to come.

The infant-parent relationship is the blueprint for socialization, nurturance, and empathic development during infancy, which is defined as birth to three years of age. This relationship contributes to an infant’s acquisition of emotional regulation and improves the infant’s overall developmental maturity. The infant requires an "other", usually a parent, who is stronger, wiser and emotionally available to maximize his or her overall growth.

She always perceived the fact that children possess different and higher qualities than those we usually attribute to them. She saw a higher form of personality waiting to be liberated. Her method addressed the significant need to facilitate the inner work of the child, that of psychical adaptation—a process which every child must go through in order to integrate motor, sensory and intellectual development.
