Each year at Wesak a gigantic meditative effort is undertaken which seeks to extend a chain, a bridge of lighted thought, across which Light and Love and Power can travel from the highest realms of Hierarchy to the sub-human kingdoms of nature. In this process humanity is destined to play a crucial role, to act as a transmitter of spiritual light, energy and potency from above to below.

We are asked to take part in the Wesak ceremony subjectively, intelligently and imaginatively—with a full play of the imagination, because the imagination is the lower counterpart of the intuition, which is known as "buddhi". In drawing upon the intuition, we are tapping the very quality, buddhi, that is potential within every human being and which aligns us with the Buddha, who is the living embodiment of buddhi and whose very name means "the Awakened One".

In a divine triangle, there are three points of energy, not isolated points, but related points holding great tension. Each point distributes strengthening energy to the other points, while producing circulating energy between all points around the triangle. This exemplifies in the Prayer Triangle that the Father and Christ centres are reservoirs to penetrate and invoke with thought energy. Therefore, we seek to establish relationship within this free flowing channel.
