I Choose – Editorial
Why is the capacity to choose of such vital importance? Many spiritual attributes are acquired in learning to make wise choices; free will is an inherent and inviolable human right, and this means that the human being must live with the consequences of his choices and preferences, good or bad.
The Technique of Fusion -- Djwhal Khul
The Protector of Humanity – Part II -- Mark Braham
The perfectly understandable non-scientific answer to the evolution and thus, hierarchisation, of life, especially as proposed by the "creationists" and those mystically inclined, is that "it is all in the mind of God". It may be, but this is a cheap reply, because it becomes an evasion of trying to understand the processes that are at work.
Esoteric Healing in the 21st Century – Part III -- Judy Jacka
We tend to think that the will should not be used in healing but it is the personal will which can be dangerous. In fact if the will-to-live is absent then disease and death will triumph.
"Newer Truths" of the Tibetan: An Exploration -- A student
These newer truths cover the vast sweep of human activity, from hundreds of years ago to the present and into the future. At present, because of the intensification of the work of the Hierarchy and the increased cooperation on the part of humanity and the new group of world servers, these ideas are permeating the consciousness of the thinkers of humanity in a much more rapid and overt way.
Multiple Personality Disorder: An Esoteric Perspective – Part I -- Laura Harrison
The esoteric theory of Multiple Personality Disorder states that it occurs when the owner of the physical body is absent from it or currently unaware of the body because the consciousness thread, which is anchored in the brain, is detached. Into this void of consciousness steps another conscious, discarnate (not "in the flesh") being, which is comprised of a separate emotional body, mental body and soul.
Soul: The Unifying Middle Principle -- A student
Soul is the consciousness aspect which arises from the union of spirit and matter when "being descends to manifest" in the world of form. It is the embodied and magnetic energy of love-wisdom which unites purpose and active intelligence in order to carry the will of spirit down to the very densest levels of creation.
The Leakey Family -- Peter Seebeck
In 1961, the family and their assistants uncovered another important skull at Olduvai. This skull was more like that of early Homo sapiens, which indicated that it was more advanced than the skull discovered in 1959 and yet it was also 250,000 years older. This, along with other evidence they found, caused the Leakeys to propose that millions of years ago several different forms of hominids coexisted in the same area over the same time period, some more ape-like, some more human-like.
Thinking by a Jungle Pool -- Raphael O’Suna
It is possible that all of our turnings and diversions and detours and "coincidences" and "choices" have but one purpose in fact--a movement from birth to death, utilising a preordained or otherwise obtained amount of energy. This amount will be the least amount necessary to follow a predetermined or karmic path.
