The New Group of World Servers: Group Forerunner of the Christ—Editorial Now, however, we live in a time, known as the "Stage of the Forerunner", which is characterised by group leadership, group vision, group service, group sharing and group responsibility. The new group of world servers is referred to by Alice Bailey as the Forerunner of the Christ because the group is preparing the way for His return. Characterised by an attitude of synthesis, inclusiveness and goodwill, the new group of world servers is attuned to the cry of humanity itself. It is a sound of invocation, of appeal to a higher, better way of life.
