The Approach of the Hierarchy
Many, many thousands
of years ago, there was a period in human history when God-men,
Priest-Kings, openly walked the earth amongst humanity. These
priest-kings acted as “focal points of attractive energy,”
drawing to themselves those spiritual seekers who responded to
their note. References to this ancient civilisation of Atlantis
are scattered throughout the Sacred Teachings in the guise of
legend and myth; its fall from grace being most notably depicted
as the Flood in the Old Testament. Since then humanity, through
the Law of Evolution, has had to learn to tread “the Path
of Return through individual experiment and experience.”
Now, again, on a higher turn of the spiral, after many millennia,
the Approach of the Hierarchy to openly live and work on the
physical plane draws ever closer. And at the forefront of this
epochal impulse stands the World Teacher, the Lord of Love, the
Christ.
All these effects
in the outer world indicate that the soul of humanity is responding
to the Call of Hierarchy. But opposing these progressive developments
are those potent forces that are obstructing the “divine
circulatory flow” of energy and acting as a barrier to humanity
entering into a global era of spiritual creativity. In its own
way Triangles is helping to redress the balance and, once and
for all, turn the tide of human aspiration towards those spiritual
values that humanity shares with the higher kingdoms.
We all acknowledge
that the use of the Great Invocation is central to the Triangles
work. And through the initiative at the beginning of the year
to offer the adapted version, which incidentally is in addition
to and not a replacement of the original Invocation, it
is hoped that a wider audience will be drawn into using the Great
Invocation. All of us who work in Triangles recognise the pivotal
role of this sacred Mantram to reconnect humanity into the “divine
circulatory flow.” Its use is a powerful tool in the skilled
hands of all those who work to invoke light, love and power,
and so play a part in creating “the new heavens and the
new earth.”
