Triangles Forum
On Saturday,
February 24th this year, a Triangles Forum was held in London,
focusing on the theme of Planetary Service through the Power
of Thought, and about eighty people attended. We were greatly
encouraged by the response the Forum attracted from people not
connected with the work, but who were attuned to the idea of
selfless service. Our advertising in two spiritual magazines
and in a mailing from a holistic education centre in London,
stimulated support from people of goodwill in all walks of life.
We felt that the aim of the Forum to introduce newcomers to the
Triangles work and to help those already in a triangle to form
other triangles was achieved. We were truly blessed with a glorious
display of sunshine and clear blue skies, quite fitting for the
afternoon’s work.
The Forum was
divided into two sessions. The first session began with a welcoming
address and a talk on ‘Triangles: The Upliftment of Human
Consciousness.’ The talk explored many aspects of the work
including the role of Triangles as a spiritual technique contributing
to the transformation of human consciousness. After the talk
a question and answer session followed. A number of topical questions
were asked, precipitating a fruitful discussion period. The first
session ended with a short but focused group meditation, using
the Triangles meditation as a format, to introduce newcomers
to the work of visualising the global Network of Triangles, and
of invoking and radiating spiritual energies into human consciousness.
After the tea
break, the second session started with a talk on ‘Invocation:
A New Approach to God’, discussing the importance of the
new science of invocation and of the Great Invocation in re-connecting
humanity with the divine. This was followed by small discussion
groups, of between 3-5 people, exploring the theme of using the
power of thought for planetary service. Drawing from the ideas
in the talks and from the theme, the discussion period contributed
to more clearly anchoring the role and purpose of Triangles in
peoples’ minds. This was followed by short presentations
from two triangles members who spoke of their own personal experiences
of the global service of Triangles and their reasons for participating
in the work.
Before the closing
group meditation, there was a plenary session in which all participants
were invited to ask questions or share their ideas on the afternoon’s
proceedings. There was a rich diversity of questions and comments.
The last fifteen minutes of the Forum were spent in group meditation
using the Triangles meditation outline. A number of people formed
triangles on the day or put their names down to be linked into
a triangle, and others have formed triangles since. All who attended
the Forum helped to develop a greater understanding of the work,
and to weave light and love into human relationships.
We hope this
new initiative will capture the imagination of the worldwide
Triangles Group and so help to propel the work into a new era
of expanding service to the divine Plan, to Humanity and to the
spiritual Hierarchy. A written transcript and an audio cassette

How to form a Triangle
At headquarters
we often hear of the apparent ease that some people have in forming
triangles, whilst others have difficulty finding the right co-workers.
Some of those, who are unable to form a triangle, write in to
headquarters seeking advice and often ask if we can help them
form a triangle. Our policy is to encourage people to try to
form their own triangles, this way the triangle forms naturally.
Nevertheless, we understand that there are those who, not through
lack of trying, are unable to find suitable co-workers. In these
cases we do assist in linking them with other like-minded people,
who have also written to us, and this administrative function
of the work will continue.
We would suggest
to those who find themselves in the position of wanting to form
a triangle, but cannot find two other suitable co-workers, to
use the technique of visualisation. Each day imagine that you
are linked with two other points of light in a triangular pattern
within the global Triangles network. Then, when, sounding the
Great Invocation visualise light and love flowing through each
point of your ‘triangle’ and throughout the Triangles
network. Using this technique, you are not only visualising your
own ‘triangle’, to ‘magnetically’ attract
two other like-minded people to form a triangle with you, but
also contributing to the subjective work of directing spiritual
energies into human consciousness.
It is worthwhile
considering that people of goodwill are, more often than not,
open to the idea of using the power of thought for constructive
purposes. They, too, also recognise the need for more light and
love in the world. As these two ideas lie at the heart of the
work, it is not, therefore, such a great bridge that has to be
crossed to introduce these people to Triangles. If, however,

Triangles is
universal in its appeal. At headquarters, over the years, triangles
have been registered by people in over 100 countries of the world.
There are today many thousands of people throughout the planet
who link daily with the global Triangles network to infuse human
consciousness with light and love. Forming one more triangle
will exponentially increase the flow of these abundant spiritual
energies onto outer levels.

two other co-workers to form a triangle with, you may be interested
to learn that plans are underway to launch a new experimental
project on the Triangles web pages of the Lucis Trust website
