The Sacred Art of Healing
As a network of individuals using the power of thought to help in the birthing of a
culture of peace and right relations in the world, how might we approach issues of
health and healing? What insights does our experience with the daily Triangles link
give us into the sacred art of healing?
Triangles members come from a diversity of philosophical and faith backgrounds, so
there will inevitably be a variety of views on the question. Yet there are some
fundamentals that we would all agree on. Through our experience in the network, we
all know something of the reality of a subtle, sacred dimension to our being, for
we learn to see others increasingly in terms of their essence, visualising co–workers
as points of radiant, lighted energy.
Most would agree that healing, in its truest and deepest sense, concerns the art of
‘making whole’ and bringing the sacred, timeless aspects of Self into right
relations and balance with outer aspects of mind, emotion and body. We may also agree
that healing will sometimes involve the death and dissolution of the body. Preserving
the body at all costs ceases to be an objective in healing when the body (with its
personality, its emotions and mind) is no longer seen as the beginning and end of Self.
Triangles provides perfect training, and gives us a natural sensitivity for healing work.
After all, we are working with the radiation of soul energies. And we are doing so as a
group. We radiate light and goodwill through the mental and emotional environment, knowing
that these vital energies will strengthen and nourish all that is of a similar vibration
in the worlds of mind and heart. And we know too that these higher energies will
facilitate healing crises in which mental and emotional blocks will be transmuted
and resolved. This we do for humanity as a whole.
Our Triangles experience also helps us to work with the Love that we find within our
soul—healing is essentially a radiation of Love. And there is something else,
something more specific that we are learning. It is connected with the mystery of the
triangle. Traditions that have mapped the subtle electrical fields of the body point
to the significance of triangular flows between chakras or nodes in the restoration of
balance, health and vitality. Energy healing requires knowledge of these triangular
patterns. In many ways it is an extension, and a refined application, of the work we
are doing in the network.
Through Triangles we are all participants in the sacred art of healing humanity and
the planet.
The period is coming in which we will pass through a cycle in which we will garner the
fruit of the ages; in which we will skim (if I may so express it) the cream off the
milk of human experience; and then, with the best that the past can confer upon us,
we will inaugurate those new enterprises which will speed humanity upon its way. Among
these new enterprises the healing art will be the foremost, because the most necessary.
